A level results. Everyone's talking about it, except Fatty... maybe.

I can say that I'm not worried and excited about the results. But then again, I'm not good at lying to myself.

Well, at least unlike Geri, I've not been dreaming about it. At least not recently.

Mum got an auspicious chim from the Slim River temple, and though rather selfish, I hope it's related to me.

A level results. It's inevitable. It's of epic proportions. In my world. At this moment. Maybe only at this moment. But the ramifications are not estimatable.

"The Mayer Amschel Rothschild family (often referred to simply as The Rothschilds; German [ˈʁoːtʃɪlt]; anglicized pronunciation [ˈɹɒθstʃaɪld]), is an eminent international banking and finance dynasty of German Jewish origin that established operations across Europe, and was ennobled by the Austrian and British governments."

Now I know Rothschild is not only a name for steak.

I want to watch The Queen! when is it going to be screened in Malaysian cinemas?

Happy CNY everyone!

Returned from Slim River yesterday afternoon, and promptly headed for KFC to fill growling stomach.

Slim River was like NS camp (according to some friends) - love culminates only after, not during.

Okay, so it wasn't so bad. But it was definitely a far cry from the good old days. Remember Kings 'n Queens? Cottonneil 'n Co? Countless Shandys? Trips to the old train station? Camping in tents? Pirates on swing?

Well, we've probably outgrown it. Sure, there was the introduction of the BBQ, but the old folks, so unenthusiastic, hmph.

And the squabbles, aha, old habits die hard. What can you expect when you gather 10 old people under one roof?

That makes an interesting case study.

I still really love CNY. My affection for money hasn't diminished one bit.

CNY commercials are always a delight. Make no mistake, I'm referring to the Petronas commercial that features old people, not the corny 8tv one. And the one by TMnet generated pride for the contributions of the Malaysian Chinese.

Currently the NST commercial is my favourite. It's cute and definitely sent the message across. I'm preoccupied. =)

Came back and realised I'm in love... with

Fatty (sorry for the chaos I detonated)
Flossie
Bubble
Buddy
Bananee
shui jiao with ginger and vinegar
fruity wines because they make me talk
...

Happy New Year everyone! again.

A conditional offer from Warwick. *JOY* and sighs of relieve.

What happens when one becomes an unwillingly willing third wheel? Well, not exactly a third wheel, maybe the second and a half wheel...

But I'm not confused.
When one leaves on a plane, reality strikes.

But under different circumstances, the outcome might be different.

Anyway, The Holiday was entertaining, a tad true, a tad snuffles-inducing... and i poked your nose.

Got a Valentine rose yesterday morning, right when I was mega grouchy and peevish. My spirits were cajoled in an instant. =)

This is my first post of YR 2007. It's rather late, I know. But I lacked inspiration.

I haven't found a job yet, probably due to inertia. Secret Recipe didn't get back to me, ie I failed my first job application. Aiks. That's OK. Waitressing isn't my cup of tea... *sour grapes*

I'm learning, I'm learning, though. I learnt that if you turn the steering wheel to the maximum too many times, the hydraulic oil leaks out. And I learnt, adding to my guilt, that it costs a whopping RM 1000 to get it fix - that's if your car is some fragile baby like a 1996 built Audi.

I should learn more.

Just the other day, I followed Dad's advice, and read, albeit in a leisurely manner, the Success Principles!!! Sceptical at first, I'm won over after reading this: "The greater danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it", uttered by Michelangelo. The book goes on to explain that it is human constraint, fueled by rationality and practicality, that limits us. To quote Dad: It's all about the mindset.

Agreed. I'll be more naive, I'll be a dreamer...

I'm writing CNY cards now. My list is 20 people strong, and I'm stuck at some of them. There is too much, and too little to say in an approximately 15cm x 9cm card. Exactly which card matters? I'm too lazy to be discriminatory.

Oh, also JH's farewell gift... The ultimate pencil case evades me! I know it's hiding somewhere in Singapore. I got Fatty something, but he won't be here on that day. =( Somehow I'm not sure whether I should dread or be elated about the release of the results. Messy messy. One thing's for sure though - the skies will clear a little.

*

JH's leaving on the 12th. No more pasar malam, no more mamak, no more talking crap and hysteric laughs, no more sarcasm about vain guys... We're weird. Or normal. No wait. You are weird. Haha hope the funny weird ubur ubur settles down nicely in Sydney.

I love milk. Milk makes me happy. Think milk.
